Project Monster moves forward


Project Monster, one of WEDA’s exclusive projects has narrowed there building search on the East Coast.

On a telephone call that included the project’s principals, Brad Struck of E. Smith Realty Group, and WEDA’s leadership team, the project, Project Monster, has placed four East Coast states on their shortlist. There are seven separate buildings on the list.

The search for sites on the West Coast and the Mid-West continues!

First off, I wanted to thank you for your mission to California and the awareness-building you are doing for San Angelo and the State of Texas. I have been very pleased with our WEDA relationship, as it gives me a “force-multiplying” reach to events and marketplaces that I do not have the time to reach personally. I will be joining you in future events and shows, but I am confident in your energies and look forward to hearing about the connections and ideas.

With the loss of our Chamber president, Phil Neighbors, we have been rallying to keep everything moving full-force, just as he would want us to. We are proud to be advocates of the San Angelo community and have more spirit than ever to further bolster the diverse economy of our city. Success can come very quickly!

Pacific Development Corporation, a California retail development firm, asked WEDA to bring potential tenants to their new location in Ridgecrest, California. WEDA customized the Lighthouse 360 program for them.

One of the major elements is a targeted email campaign.

Within 30 minutes of the first email being sent, Pacific Development received a phone call inquiring about becoming a retail tenant at the new location.

Dumas Economic Development Corporation

When Mike Running of the Dumas Economic Development Corporation wanted to find contacts at the NPE trade show, he called WEDA.

WEDA crafted a short email campaign and sent it to all of the exhibitors who were scheduled to be at the show.

Before he even left Dumas, Mike had over a dozen appointments with plastics company representatives about relocating to his area.

Mike went on to find dozens more potential contacts at that show and other has attended with WEDA.
